The annual Labour Party Conference was held in Christchurch from Friday 29 to Sunday 1 December 2024. Labour Party leader Chris Hipkins pledged if elected in 2026 his government would resume SmokeFree Aotearoa, complete Dunedin Hospital’s rebuild and said NZ would not join AUKUS.
For the 2024 Conference, I designed a custom logo in two styles, digital signs that appeared on podiums and backdrops during speeches, and a social media campaign.
For the event graphics, we kept it Party-branded in Labour’s red and white colours. For the opening speeches the Conference branding was used, and it was switched to the Labour logo for the closing night events. For social media, I suggested a bolder approach with tones of peach and purple to support it.
